When Annie isn't recording or on the road with other artists, she's finding new ways to experiment with emotion through production in her self-titled project.
Annie originally started her solo work as a way to practice her newfound love of music production. She didn't yet have a discography, so she made herself her first artist.
Since her beginning practices, Annie began to find the more therapeutic aspect of making solo work, and dug into self-expression and releasing whatever emotion comes up into the music.
This summer, she'll be touring the east coast and joined by the ultra-talented Mason Davis on percussion! She hopes for her live shows to resemble a type of magic trick, live-looping between multiple stations to leave the listener wondering where the music is even coming from.
Her solo work has become musical journaling, which makes it even more cathartic when a listener wants to talk about identifying with her lyrics. She hopes to let the audience know that it's okay to feel your feelings in this confusing, frustrating world.
"Annie Leeth has a knack for distilling big emotions into compact dramas. Her work grapples with unknowable truths and complex questions"
